Western View Golf and Pub is the State Capitol's only golf course. It has a long, storied history in Maine's public golf community. Maintaining the tradition of being an affordable, welcoming golf course for everyone is important. We are not fancy or long, but we are tough and fun. In addition to the golf course, we have a great, affordable pub and restaurant. Many people find our venue perfect for functions, such as birthday parties, baby showers, reunions, and more. In the winter, we stay open four days a week. We also have a state-of-the-art golf simulator for winter practice.

On Sundays, we have a scramble competition. We host trivia nights and cribbage competitions as well. Friends can also enjoy darts and cornhole here at Western View Golf and Pub. We have our ASCAP license, which allows us to offer weekly entertainment. We also have a 48x21-foot deck facing the western mountains, and on a clear day, you can see Mt. Washington. The deck was named The Heckle Deck, giving players on the ninth green a stadium-type welcome at the end of a round.

Western View Golf and Pub is also a proud Kennebec Valley Chamber of Commerce member. Western View Golf and Pub is the ultimate event venue or place for get-togethers and other occasions.
